LCM Energy Solution Co., Ltd. (Chairman Byung-Heung Lee) is a company that is growing into a domestic company with independent technology and competitiveness in the field of manufacturing lithium ion battery packs and lithium polymer cells (secondary batteries).

First, the first step is to build a battery power pack facility with more than 30,000 packs and 3 lines with a capacity of 300MWh with the goal of mass-producing 1.5GWh of lithium polymer cells per year following the completion of the research institute and factory by 2022, and 200 billion won on a 35,000㎡ site in the Naju industrial complex. was completed in December of last year, facilities and production machines were installed in January of this year, and production began in February. Currently, about 250 billion won of orders have been received, and sales are expected to continue to increase. In the future, we are confident that annual sales from the currently completed plant and the lithium polymer cell plant to be completed next year will be raised to trillions of units.

In the second stage, it plans to invest an additional 400 billion won by 2025 with the goal of building a cell facility with an annual capacity of 3GWh, and seek to create jobs for 500 full-time employees and 3,000 employees at partner companies.

The business area focuses on the three areas of 'lithium polymer cell manufacturing', 'lithium ion battery pack', and 'renewable energy' in a large frame, and researches by field and secures production personnel to achieve the 'green secondary battery total solution', which is the mid- to long-term vision. It is an aspiration to realize 'a global leading company'.

The field of 'lithium ion battery pack', the main business, researches and manufactures solar street light battery packs, waste electric vehicle recycling battery packs, portable ESS, E-Mobility battery packs, drones, electric ships, golf carts, electric bike packs, etc. do.

When LCM Energy Solutions starts full-scale production, it aims to compete with world-class battery manufacturers by leading exports as well as stable corporate operation through differentiated supply chains such as military supply.

A research institute composed of dozens of people with master's and doctoral degrees will also be established to contribute to the development of high-tech industries in Jeollanam-do.

LCM Energy Solution secures an efficient supply chain for secondary battery raw materials by linking with Yeosu and Gwangyang Industrial Complex, unconventional support measures in South Jeolla Province and Naju, scalability of KEPCO Energy Valley that can further increase production capacity in the future, and abundant human infrastructure including KEPCO Engineering College It is said that they decided to invest in Naju for various reasons.

Chairman Lee Byeong-heung said, "The first step of construction of the Shingye-nyeok secondary battery at the Naju Innovation Industrial Complex, which is the center of Korea's global energy hub and energy valley, began on June 4 and was completed in December. We will make all-round efforts to secure local talent as well as technological advancement in terms of efficiency and safety of secondary batteries in preparation for

Along with this, Chairman Lee said, “As Korea enters a super-aging society, as a solution to the population problem, facilities for overseas Koreans and multicultural families settled in domestic cities are equipped with small-sized, neutral, carbon credits RE100 products, small wind power generators, solar power generators, and finished secondary batteries. If this becomes the case, 10KW electricity production per household will be generated, so there will be no bank interest burden for residents, such as zero electricity bills, securing carbon credits, and creating an eco-friendly residential environment, and creating a lot of profit.”
